We pump in the F-U-N with baton, dance, games, and team building activities.
Our staff is commited to making our program a positive learning experience that will create many great memories.
Enroll now in our fantastic baton twirling and dance program, developed to introduce new skills and excite students! We have something for everyone from the “Never Tried it Before” to the “National Level Competitor”.
Classes for fall session begin August 31st through September 3rd, 2009. Register for any of our locations by calling 321-402-4659, or emailing tessah22@comcast.net . Class sizes are limited, so early enrollment is recommended. We will place your child on a waiting list if the desired class is full.
Baton Twirling is an affordable sport that is both athletic and artistic. We teach how to twirl & dance, learn team work, improve co-ordination and get physically fit! Participants meet new friends and have performance opportunities. It’s a great program for parents to enjoy with their children by attending parades, community festivals and events.

Tessah Marie Ivey Ceballos
Coach Ivey began her twirling career in 1981 as a majorette at Stratton Jr. High School in Beckley, WV. In 1986 Tessah moved to Florida. She began teaching baton for fun in Kissimmee and St. Cloud. She decided to take her love of twirling and make it a part time job. She began her first professional program in 1987 through Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department under the performing group name of “Kissimmee’s Best“.
Today, that part time job has become a full time and full-fledged company-Rhapsody Baton and Dance; which provides recreational baton twirling and dance programming for cities/counties/schools & private facilities in Osceola and Orange Counties.
In addition to running her own business, Tessah recently was hired by the United States Twirling Association as their Director of Growth and Development. She is a current Elite Level II coach and Level I Judge with the USTA organization.
Over the last 22 years Tessah …
- Participated in organized twirling as a previous Drum Majorettes of America individual/ team coach and competitor. Previous contest director, judge, individual/team coach and competitor for Twirling Unlimited. Previous registered/certified judge, individual/team coach and competitor for World Twirling Association. Previous registered Judge and Individual/Team Coach for National Baton Twirling Association, judged the Miss Majorette of Ontario, Canada and All East. Previous backstage Parade Coordinator, 2007 evening group parade judge, and 2008 beginner individual parade routine choreographer for Twirl Mania, held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL
- Was the featured guest clinician and judge at the National Puerto Rican Baton Twirling Championships held in Luiza, Puerto Rico 2008 and Aguada, Puerto Rico 2009.
- Has worked with Celebration, Gateway, Jones, Osceola and St. Cloud High School Majorette Lines as a coach, choreographer or consultant.
- Worked for the Florida Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports as a State Sport Director and Consultant during 1997 and 1998. Implemented Baton Twirling in the Sunshine State Games in 1997 and held one of the first multi- organizational judged open competitions in the country -The Florida State Games
- Coordinated televised (airtime purchased under contract) participation of 300 multi-organizational Florida twirlers and groups in the Florida Citrus Bowl parade under the name “Twirl America”.
- Choreographed, produced and organized multi-organizational group televised performance at the Rotary sponsored Florida Collegiate Gridiron Football Game held at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL.
- Served on USTA Coaches/Public Relations/ Marketing Commissions for 8 years.
- Founded and twirled on Valencia Community College’s first baton team in 1988.
- Was a former Jr. High, High School & College Majorette & Feature Twirler.
- Implemented and administered clinics and summer camps.
- Is a published author in the Osceola Sports Magazine and Catch It Magazine.
Coaching Results
- The Rhapsody program has produced athletes that have qualified for US Pre-Trials, US Trials, Men’s World Team, and International Cup. Our teams have participated in USTA local, State, Regional and National competitions. We are the USTA advanced Primary National Dance Twirl Team Champions and Advanced Primary National Pairs for 2008.
- We have produced athletes and teams that have won local, state, regional and national titles in Twirling Unlimited and the United States Twirling Association; have had students qualify for Advanced Miss Majorette of America (AYOP) at NBTA and have won local, state, regional individual and team championships at WTA (World Twirling Association).
