Baton twirling is SO a sport! Thanks a million for sharing this video. The levels of strength, agility, finesse, timing, and utter fearlessness that today’s competitors display are astounding.

I recall when the “movement” began, to add baton twirling as an Olympic sport. This was back in the 70’s, and it’s hard to imagine that we’re still not there. Thanks again for offering training to twirlers, for supporting the activity, and for helping to build public awareness of today’s sport of baton twirling.

that is awesome because when i talk to my friends about baton they say, ” that is not a sport that is why i do dance” but i come in on mondas beat up and brusted so it just gos to show our sport is better than your sport burn.
